Data Sources

The SAMMI project uses data from a number of sources, including:

• Geographic and demographic data from MassGIS
• Substance Abuse treatment statistics from the Bureau of Substance Abuse Services
• Medicare Part D prescriber data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
• The White House’s National Drug Control Strategy data supplements for 2014 and 2015
